Tough Loss

This was a game from a few months ago, but a tough way to lose in OT. Scoring on your own goal with the goalie pulled! Chicago pulled its goalie in OT because there was a delayed call on Manitoba. When Chicago tried to center the puck from behind the net, a miscue by the defensman, sent the puck into a wide open Chicago net.


Rask Will Not Be Suspended For Outburst

Update from Tuukka Rask Freaks Out:

According to, Tuukka Rask, the Boston Bruins AHL prospect goalie, will not be suspended for his outburst in a game against the Albany River Rats. Rask had a meltdown after two very questionable goals were scored on him during the Providence Bruins’ 1-0 shootout loss to Albany. Rask was assessed a 10-minute misconduct penalty for his actions, however it was obviously at the end of the game and thus there was no real penalty to the team.

I think he has a pretty legitimate argument and so does his coach Rob Murray:

“Why not? Show some emotion. He got a 10-minute misconduct; big deal. I don’t mind that. He has a reason to be upset,” said the coach.
